Friday May 22nd, 2020
Dear Immanuel family,

As we wrap up the school year please note two events still coming. First, we will have two days of picking up materials and dropping off Immanuel's items. Those dates are May 27 & 28. Please see the article below to sign up for your time to come to school. We are trying to spread out traffic, so please come at the time you chose. The other upcoming event is graduation. Our 8th graders will graduate on May 29 at 7:00 PM. Because graduation is taking on a new format (outside Drive-In style) we might not all be able to come. If you would like to record a message of congratulations to our graduates, please take a short video and email it to me at swallace@immanuelbrookfield.org.

The school Bible verse this year was John 13:35. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." Even today I saw acts of love and generosity. Out of this disruptive pandemic has come kindness and caring. One of our 8th grade families had yard sign printed and put them in the yards of all of our graduates. Another family told me how they are taking care of an elderly aunt and uncle during this time. Yet another individual took in a family that needed a home. I think it would not be hard for you to think of kindness that has been shown to you and caring you have witnessed around you. When we care for each other, we are truly shining the light of Christ into the world.

God's continued blessings,
Sharon Wallace
Bible Verse of the month:

We have entered into new life. We know this because we love one another.
