-ISSUE 030-

July has seen some of the hottest temperatures on record in many areas, but the outside temps aren’t the only thing heating up—so is our workload! July has brought with it the culmination of a variety of fun projects for our clients, from building signage to marketing collateral and Small Business support. We’ve also enjoyed onboarding a few new clients in the workforce industry. Check out our Noteworthy section for more exciting updates.

HIGHER EDUCATION

Our friends at the Town of Gilbert recruited us to design a series of large-scale building exterior graphics for the Gilbert University Building, home to both Park University’s third campus in Arizona and University of Arizona Gilbert, offering the nation's first Bachelor of Science in Nursing with an emphasis in Integrative Health.

We developed a series of window and building graphics, the largest of which was more than 55 feet wide. The final product was recently installed and looks amazing!

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

The City of Scottsdale, a PDDG client for nearly 10 years, enlisted our creative team to design a series of branded marketing pieces in support of the recently rebranded Choose Scottsdale.

Our team assisted the city’s economic development team with development of a suite of branded items, including notecards, special event canopy, table cover, and four pull-up banners.

WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT

To support small business employers facing financial impacts from the coronavirus pandemic, the Monterey County Workforce Development Board (MCWDB), in partnership with the California Office of the Small Business Advocate (CalOSBA), has established the COVID-19 Microbusiness Grant Fund providing $2,500 grants to eligible small employers experiencing economic stresses caused by the pandemic.

The MCWDB engaged PDDG to produce print and digital marketing pieces, as well as a dedicated website and online application to make applying for the grant program easy for small businesses in Monterey County. Small businesses are often the lifeblood of a community, so we are proud to partner with organizations, like MCWDB, that work diligently to support small businesses.

PDDG Proudly Sponsors NAWB DEI Task Force

The National Association of Workforce Boards (NAWB) recently convened a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) task force of workforce visionaries to reveal disconnects in practitioner-led dialogues and to unmask barriers to centering racial equity in the workforce development ecosystem. PDDG is a proud sponsor of the new DEI Task Force and will be providing marketing and creative support over the coming months in support of the task force’s strategic goals and objectives.
