Vergennes Memorial Day 2020 Parade, with a Twist
Neither rain or any storm of any kind will keep the Little City from honoring those who died while serving in the U.S. military. A national moment of remembrance takes place at 3:00pm on Monday, May 25 . With a different twist, let the 2020 Vergennes Memorial Day parade begin.

From the City of Vergennes Recreation Department:
What's Memorial Day without a parade? Since we cannot all gather for a parade, why not bring the parade to the community! On Memorial Day, we will be having a special Bang-n-Clang parade at 3pm. So let's wave our flags, make some noise and remember the military personnel who had died while serving in the United States Armed Forces.

Route: VUES, East St, School St, S Maple St, Maple Manor, Thomas Circle, S Water St, MacDonough Dr, Comfort Hill, and High St .

One of the winners, Nichole van Gulden and her family were big-time Vergennes 500 supporters. Somewhat new to Vergennes, they love the city's sense of community and are thrilled to be making their home here. Her daughter, Jet, made this adorable birthday map for her Grammy, who received most of the gift certificates they bought. How sweet is that?!!!!!
