Objects of the Month
(Now part of Recollective Echo )

—Student Curator Aurora Escobedo (Tesuque Pueblo)

Aurora also chose two baskets to include in the exhibition, a huge (9.25 x 22 in.) one from the Tubatulabal in Southern California, c. 1890 and " the tiniest basket I ever saw " by Frances Williams (Nuu-chah-nulth, British Columbia, c 1980-85, 2 x 2 in.).
Recollective Echo is at the Coe through Saturday July 6.
