The Pioneer Express!
ORHS
Your Community Brief from Oak Ridge High School
Friday, March 13, 2020

The campus is quiet today as our Pioneers have departed on a well earned spring break. Their teachers are still here finishing up 3rd quarter final grades and regular classes will resume again on Monday, March 23.

Today is the very last chance for any of our ORHS parents & guardians to take a couple of minutes and share their views on our annual parent survey (link just below). The survey will be taken down at the end of the day so if this applies to your household, please take the survey today. We need your feedback for school improvement planning. Thank you.

Have a wonderful spring break and I am looking forward to seeing everyone back at school on Monday, March 23 for a successful on-time start to the final nine-week quarter!

Latest Information - Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Orange County Public Schools is in constant communication with the Florida Department of Health regarding the spread of COVID-19. As of March 12, Florida has 26 confirmed cases of the disease (none in Orange County) and two deaths. Florida is still considered a low-risk region.

OCPS is following appropriate protocols to protect staff and students. The district's current cleaning products are proven effective against the Coronavirus (the virus that causes COVID-19). Over Spring Break, custodial crews will sanitize all schools and offices.
