Dear Parents,
I salute you!! It has been a rough couple of months. I hope that you have found some time to enjoy having everyone home! I know it is hard with all the additions of school work, job worries, REP assignments, possible health issues for loved ones and friends near and far, and not even mentioning the isolation. There are so many demands on parents, even without Covid-19. Know that we continue to pray for you and your families as always. If you have a special prayer intention, let us know. If you have any other needs, please let us know. If you have photos of your at-home antics, we are still accepting photos, poems, drawings etc. for our newsletter!
Enjoy This short video including the Ascension, before "heading to Mass" at home this Sunday. Discuss; then plan when you will join fellow parishioners at Mass next week!

Public Masses for Our Pastoral Region
We can hardly wait! Public Masses will resume with limited attendance while maintaining social distancing, beginning on Memorial Day, May 25. The obligation to attend Mass on Sundays is still suspended -- meaning you do not have to come to church -- until further notice. Masses are offered seven days a week -- pick one to attend. Because we need to spread our congregations out at different Masses (not just the weekend), you maypick any day of the week to celebrate Mass.

Please do not attend if your health is compromised, you are sick, or you are concerned or fearful about catching or giving the virus.
So that we are able to make sure that churches are not too crowded, you will need to go to our parish website to sign up for to attend Mass. StVeronica.org or SJFChurch.org The process is very easy, just look for the button on the main website page and sign up. Please pass the word that for those who do not use a computer, you can simply call the parish office to let us know you are coming. St. John Fisher: 513-561-9431. St. Veronica: 513-528-1622.
Most Masses will continue to be live streamed from St. Veronica. All attendees must bring your own face mask to wear; provide your own hand sanitizer. Our Masses will be simple and prayerful.

Meanwhile, please check   www.stveronica.org for updates and details about Mass resuming.

With public Masses starting up, we anticipate First Holy Communion will not be too very far behind. Currently dates and times are being discussed. When everything is finalized, all second-grade parents will receive a Constant Contact invitation to sign up for a date and time. For now, parents, please help your child finish the First Communion Banner and return it by May 31; pray with and for your child and practice the proper way to receive the Eucharist. Remember, we will only receive the Blessed Sacrament, and not the Precious Blood of our Lord.

It's REP registration time. We are already busy planning for next fall, and we want your family to be with us! The early bird registration rebate of $25.00 has been extended until May 30th. To take advantage of the reduced rate, go online to download the registration forms or let us know and we can send the forms to you. Return the forms with a down payment (or speak to Bill Frantz (513) 688-3155 by May 30th to set up a payment plan). And that's it! We look forward to receiving your registration and to sharing our plans with you for next year.

We continue to collect small size toiletry items for the racetrack ministry throughout the month of May. Please drop your donations off at Church, via the chapel between 7:30 and 4 pm. Share some love with those less fortunate by checking for any "hotel size" contributions. Many thanks for your generosity!!

Needed for next fall REP
I know September seems a LONG way away, but for those planning program, it seems like its right around the corner. If you are thinking of being a catechist for our Wednesday or Sunday program, but have questions, please give us a call. If you see something in someone else and think THEY would be a good catechist let them know why. Sometimes all it takes is an invitation.
If you feel God is calling you to this ministry, perhaps he sees something in you that can be shared with our children. BE DARING!! Pray that God shows you His plan.
