President Trump Declares A National Emergency
President Trump has taken bold action to protect the American people and stop the spread of Coronavirus.

President Trump is continuing to prioritize the health and safety of the American people. On Friday, President Trump declared a national emergency. President Trump said, “no resource will be spared” in our effort to fight the spread of the disease. This action will open up access to $50 billion dollars for states, territories, and localities. President Trump called on all hospitals in America to activate their emergency preparedness plan. This will help in our shared fight against the spread of this virus. The historic public private partnership between the federal government and industry leaders will allow testing to expand -nearly half a million additional tests will be available by next week. All Americans can be proud President Trump is bringing the best of our country together to solve this problem. During the President’s remarks from the Rose Garden the stock market surged, having its best closing since October 2008.

Fueled by momentum for President Trump’s agenda, our party once again saw historic turnout in several key battleground states on Tuesday. In the key battleground state of Michigan, the Democrat Party turnout was substantially lower than it was in 2016. In the state, President Trump far surpassed the vote total President Obama received in 2012. In Idaho, the President almost doubled his own 2016 vote total. In Missouri, the President received over four times the number of votes President Obama received in his 2012 reelected, and over double the number of votes President Bush received in his 2004 re-elect. In Mississippi, President Trump received over double the votes President Obama received during his re-election bid in Mississippi. Our Party is more united than ever behind President Trump and there is enthusiasm for him at the polls.
