Whenever I write an incest story, I'm usually looking for a hook to explain why family members break the taboo. One idea that continued popping into my head was to have chemicals, emitted by a meteor or something like that, erase that taboo from their minds, then let their natural attractions take over.

In Secrets of Taboo Pond, I decided to make it something that had been affecting this family for a full generation, but then had to explain how only the adults in the family were being affected.

Of course, you'll have to read the book to find out how I solved that problem in the plotting. 😎 Didn't think I was going to spoil my own surprises, did you?
