Mrs. Dana Schroeder
Preschool Teacher -3s Program
Dear Mack Families,

Hi, my name is Dana Schroeder and I have been working with preschoolers for 17 years. I love working with these beautiful children of God because of their honesty, willingness to learn, and the innocence that comes with this age. To watch their excitement and wonder bloom over some of the smallest things that God has created brings me such joy.

A favorite is saving worms after a rain so they will not get smashed. We love picking them up and moving them to a safer place full of dirt. We then talk about why God created these creatures and what their job is, I get great pleasure in just sitting with the children individually and talking to them about life. They will tell you anything and everything, and they make me laugh a lot!
In our class, we talk about how much Jesus loves each one of us. I want the children to know that they can pray to Him anytime of the day no matter what emotion they are feeling at that moment. At the end of the school day we will pray to Jesus for His peace to go with us now and always. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

BCS Theatre presents, "Alice in Wonderland"
The BCS theatre program is offering a FREE viewing of their performance of "Alice in Wonderland". The play is student-produced and will be ON DEMAND on February 12 & 13.

You all know the story of how Alice tumbles down a mysterious rabbit hole and finds herself in a strange land where everyone is raving mad. With the help of a Cheshire Cat, an astute Caterpillar, and a righteous Humpty Dumpty, Alice must find her way home and discover who she really is. This is a darker, more faithful version of Lewis Carroll's classic tale that reimagines the experience of Wonderland, and ends with an unexpected new twist.

Join us for this entertaining, student-produced play. It will be available on-demand on the dates above via this link:

Lost and Found

If your child has lost an item, please check the Lost and Found rack (located on the peninsula between car chutes.)
Be Prepared

The wintry conditions can make for some slippery situations around campus, whether on the field or on the playground.

We recommend your child have an extra set of clothes in the classroom for those times s/he gets wet, muddy and too uncomfortable to learn.

Recommended items include, a pair of socks, underwear, pants and a shirt. We'd like to remind you to send your kids in appropriate outerwear and footwear that is seasonally appropriate as well as extra masks, as they can sometimes get wet.
Chapel

Each week we set aside time to worship and learn about God together. Click on the box below to watch this week's Chapel, hosted by Rev. Daniel Rogers.
Preschool Highlights
Love and hearts abound with Valentine's Day just a week away. We are reminded that we love because Jesus first loved us (1 John 4:19). Preschoolers in each program are learning to be God Worshippers. They pray, sing praise songs, and read Bible stories. They talk about the words in the songs and reflect on the message in the stories. Preschoolers are celebrating God! We are reminded daily that Jesus loves us through song. Here are just a few highlights of our preschoolers engaging and being creative.
At the end of the day, Mrs. Underhill's class ends their day with the song, "May God Bless You."
Mrs. Kaskes' preschoolers learning to be God Worshippers as they learn sign language
to the song, “Our God is an Awesome God.”
“I Jesus” hearts with pipe cleaners and beads at the creation table.
