So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

From Our Head of School
Dear Parents:

We have a week chock-full of events before enjoying the Presidents' Day four-day break. Yesterday's Open House was unusually large (we had to move it to the worship center). Please, we encourage you to complete reenrollment if not done so already since we will be opening all grades on a first-come, first-serve basis starting 1 March.

Last week we experienced an increase in positive COVID cases in the middle school. Our current positive case count is high school 2, middle school 5, and lower school zero. Please continue to be deliberate in evaluating your child's health and keep them home if they are feeling sick/symptomatic.

As per my email to high school parents on Friday, SENIORS will have class the week of March 8, and their last day of instruction will be April 30 versus May 7. This keeps our seniors on campus in uninterrupted instruction to reduce exposures.

Thank you for your continued partnership and cooperation in helping us succeed in meeting the four pillars of our mission statement. Onward!

Chaplain's Corner
Dear Parents,

For the past few weeks, we have been able to go back to offering separate chapel times for middle and high school students. Although having all the upper school students together is a blessed time, it is also great to offer chapels that are primarily focused on smaller age groups. When the middle school students are separate, it allows leaders to emerge who would ordinarily be intimidated by the older students. The music in middle school chapel can also be a little different, more high energy and maybe even a little silly sometimes.

The messages have focused mostly on how middle school students can live out their faith on a daily, practical level. We have a mixture of speakers, from local youth ministers to PACS Bible teachers. Last week, we talked about what evangelism truly looks like. Many middle school students may be hesitant to share their faith with their peers because of social pressures or a fear of not knowing what to say. We talked about how sharing Jesus is like telling friends about a good movie you saw recently: you are sharing something that has impacted your life and encouraging others to come along. As Christians, our responsibility is to tell, it is up to the Holy Spirit to convict.

We are excited to continue to offer these chapels and to see what God has in store for us this semester at Prince!
