Voter Protection
We Need Your Help -- Urgently -- to Restore the Rights of Democrats Whose Status Has Been Rendered 'Inactive'

As you may have read, the Supervisor of Elections in Collier County has reclassified more than 22,000 Democratic voters as "inactive," a move that has been criticized as blatant voter suppression.

We need to reach out to those Democrats and ensure that they change their voting status. We need them at the polls -- for the Presidential Preference Primary later this month, and for the General Election in November.

We are launching a massive postcard writing campaign to reach these voters. You can play a role in that.

Help write and send post cards alerting our fellow Democrats about their inactive status. And show them how to resolve this issue.

This is Voter Protection! Right now, we’re offering this for two dates but more will be added.

March 12 at 3 p.m. and March 24 at 10 a.m.

You can also check your own voter status.

Visit  CollierVotes.com  and scroll down to “Check My Voter Registration Status” and follow the prompts. Or you can call 239-252-8683 and ask them to check your Voter Registration Status.

If your status reads “Eligible to vote in Collier County” – you will be fine.

If your status reads inactive, you can do one of these four things:
·         Update your record with the Supervisor of Elections
·         Request a Vote-by-Mail Ballot for the August Primary or the November General Election, which changes your status to 'active'
·         Vote Early and make sure to bring your Valid ID with Signature
·         Vote at your proper polling location and make sure to bring your Valid ID with Signature
