From all of us to all of you,
CHAG SUKKOT SAMEACH!
Meet on the levee opposite the end of Hessmer Ave for a short socially distanced Hoshana Rabbah service with lots of Lulav waving, followed by the traditional 'beating of the willows' and a Ma'ariv service to welcome Shabbat!
Please bring your mask and your Lulav if you have one.
Next Top Sukkah Builder & Decorator
This year is unlike any other that we have experienced, so we must figure out how to adapt to our new normal. This Sukkot, we may not be able to gather in a sukkah altogether, but that doesn’t mean we can’t still have fun!
Join us this year for our first season of…
NEXT TOP SUKKAH BUILDER AND DECORATOR!

We are asking all of our contestants (that’s you!) to send us pictures of your sukkah once it has been built and decorated.

All submissions will be posted on our synagogue Facebook page for the congregation to vote on. The winners will receive a special prize!
Rabbi Myriam Klotz offers a brief video introduction to the symbolism of the Sukkah and to the holiday of Sukkot. Why do we stand in a deliberately fragile and temporary structure in order to experience a holiday of joy?
Sukkot
Torah: Leviticus 22:26 - 23:44
Maftir: Numbers 29:12-16
