Checking In
Hi everyone!

I am including this image of a collaged note card I made many years ago because the messages included seem appropriate for all of us right now.

Are you using this slowing-down-time of the pandemic to dig deep into whatever in your life needs digging into?

What are the ways you are finding your strength?

Who are you leaning on and do you realize that you don't have to do it all alone?

I hope that, along with everything else, you are choosing to live well.
Dragonflies Gets a New Tagline
Thank you all for your feedback on the brand new cover for Dragonflies at Night, my women's novel that will be soaring onto bookshelves 9/22/20.

In the past month, I've tried out several different "taglines" because "A Love Story with Many Dimensions" just felt cumbersome to me.

I have settled on "More Than a Love Story" because, for one thing, it's easier to say and feels just right when I say it :)

For another thing... the love story of Savannah and Ben really IS more than just a love story. It's also the story of Savannah's mother, Deirdre Rose, who died Savannah was 15. Deirdre's love is a very present force within the novel. Also to consider is the love of friends, and two very special aunts (one old, one young), along with the deeper meaning of how our loved ones long gone are still with us, and how a love like Ben and Savannah's ripples out and touches others in its orbit.
Behind the Scenes
I hope you'll read more about the process of getting Dragonflies at Night from the heart of my imagination and into print - over on my Inky Blessings blog. Here are two recent posts that I think you'll enjoy:

Laying It Out- What exactly goes into creating a beautiful interior layout of a book? I bet you didn't know, because I sure didn't!

I hope that you and yours are staying grounded, grateful, and safe,
