Continuing to Be Cautious of COVID-19
As things are beginning to feel more "normal" it is important to recognize that South Carolina cases of COVID-19 have risen over the past few weeks. Seabrook Island is not immune and we are doing our very best to adhere to proper sanitization and precautionary measures, while providing accessible facilities for our members and guests.

Pelican's Nest:
The use of gloves, sanitary wipes, sanitizer stations, and daily temperature checks of our employees will continue to be in use. Masks will continue be used as well, but we have recently relaxed our requirement for staff to wear masks when not serving table-side, due to the hot, humid weather and staff concerns about breathing in the masks. As you know, Pelican's Nest is unique as an all outdoor restaurant and the environment is very physically taxing on our staff members. While COVID-19 precautions are important, employee safety will continue to be a top priority.

Beach Club Pools:
Social distancing will continue to be encouraged and we will also continue to close the pools daily from 2:00-3:00 for a facility-wide sanitizing.

Golf:
Outdoor check-in will continue to be used and single-rider carts will remain available for as long as possible.  We will also continue the on-course adjustments, such as no rakes in the bunkers and the shallow cups to prevent players from having to touch/remove the flagstick.

Racquet Club:
Outdoor check-in will continue to be used and restrictions on the use of the ball machine will remain in effect.

Equestrian:
Our Equestrian Staff will continue their upgraded efforts to sanitize tack and use a helmet for trail rides no more than once a day.
