Funds Still Available for Assistance to Businesses
Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) Still Making Loans

Per the Small Business Administration during a phone conversation late last week,
there is still money available in the Paycheck Protection Program. Businesses interested in applying should contact their bank or financial institution. Members who have questions about whether this is a a good option can contact
Jane Redicker to discuss the process.

Montgomery County Telework Grant Applications Still Open - The Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation continues to accept applications for the up to $2,500 telework grant. Apply
here. Grants are awarded by a lottery system for all applications on file by 5 p.m. each Wednesday. This process will continue through June 5, unless funding runs out prior to that date.

GSSCC Endorses ReNEW Maryland Advocacy
For the past few months, GSSCC President Jane Redicker has been a part of the Maryland Chamber of Commerce's COVID-19 work group. The group's work has focused on overcoming the economic impact of COVID-19 and rebuilding the strength of our state and local economy. The group recently released
ReNEW Maryland, a collection of policy proposals addressing the mid- and long-term challenges of the pandemic. The GSSCC Board, at its May meeting, endorsed the document. Read ReNew Maryland
