Brilliant and witty Annabelle Archer is elated to join in the first cohort of women at Oxford University in 1879 and to be offered a scholarship from the Suffragette movement. On top of lobbying men of influence for the suffrage cause and keeping up with her studies, Annabelle finds herself dodging one near-scandal after another as fate repeatedly thrusts her and the cold but handsome Duke of Montgomery together. The first in Dunmore’s League of Extraordinary Women series, Bringing Down the Duke is a fun romance for readers who love strong but quirky leading ladies and historical romances.

A stirring and strange story, Cusk's latest novel explores the meaning of art and the reverberating impact events can have on our lives. A woman who rents out a guest home on her land to artists finally gets the chance to invite a painter whose work made an indelible impression on her during a chaotic time in her life. When he doesn't live up to the idealized image she has of him, because how could he, she is thrown off center and nearly loses the stable life she has built for herself.

INFORMATION YOU CAN TRUST
|
With so many sources for information, it can be hard to sort out fact from fiction and to determine who to trust.
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services webpage has up-to-date information about the COVID-19 pandemic including data about vaccinations, who is eligible, and where to get a vaccine.
