Dear Middle School Families,
Our 50% schedule for the week of February 8th is detailed below. Early next week, I will provide a schedule for our students that will endure through the start of spring break. The weeks since the return from winter break have given us more time and reasons to think about moving forward to increase the number of students in person at school and the exact timing of that change. COVID-19 cases in the school community rose in January but have dropped considerably over the past two weeks. Our winter sports season is winding down, and those participants’ activities outside of our campus are decreasing. A majority of our faculty were able to get the first of their two vaccination shots this week. And the benefits for students to experience school in-person and together with their peers and teachers are always easy to see. The plan moving forward beyond next week will consider each of those factors.
