WHAT'S HAPPENING
CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICES
Thursday, December 24th, 3:30, 4:30, 6:30 and 8:00pm

There's no way we could go through Christmas without making sure our whole community can celebrate along with us so...we will be holding FOUR outdoor parking lot Christmas Eve services!

The first two, at 3:30pm and 4:30pm, will be for families. There will be a short Nativity play, carols, and end with Silent Night by candlelight.

The second two, 6:30pm and 8:00pm, will be traditional services. Carol singing and a Christmas message from Pastor Joel. We will end with Silent Night by candlelight.
Drive up, find yourself a parking space, tune your radio to our station, and enjoy the celebration.

As you leave please drop your candle in the tub and take home a Christmas activity pack for your children.

Merry Christmas! Jesus is born!
BLANKET DRIVE
Aledo UMC is collecting new, full/queen size blankets for the Christmas Event at Center of Hope. Approximately 500 new blankets, provided by COH and AUMC, will be given away on Saturday, December 19th, from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Families in need will be given 3 tickets to choose 3 items (gloves, hats socks, toys, blankets, etc) from the booths, plus family food boxes, hot chocolate, cookies, and crafts for kids will be provided.

Aledo UMC helpers are needed for 2-hour shifts, to man our booth and give away blankets. Sign-up in the Narthex or email Trudy Smith.
Bob Bull coat Drive

Bob Bull was a strong voice in our community for the least, the last, and the lost. He started the coat drive to provide warm jackets and coats to those in need and we continue annually, in his honor. Please place clean, gently used coats in the bin marked COAT DRIVE, located in the church Narthex. We will donate the coats to local homeless shelters.
AUMC T-SHIRTS AND SWEATSHIRTS
Need to do a little Christmas shopping? Check out the long sleeved t-shirts and sweatshirts with Aledo United Methodist Church logo. They are available in the Narthex. T-shirts are $20 and sweatshirts are $25. Get yours while supplies last!
