On this sad occasion, the Pastor, Board of Trustees, and all the auxiliary bodies of St. Sarkis Church, extend their heartfelt sympathy to Andy's family members.
FAMILY MEMBERS
Andy as he was affectionately known was a well known Armenian musician who played the Saxophone in several bands in the late 1950s and 1960s. Andy was the second child of Kirkor (George) and Hripsime (Rose) Shamelian. Both Kharpertsis along with his older sister Koharig (Kara) all of whom predeceased him.
SERVICE ARRANGEMENTS
Visitation will take place at St. Sarkis Armenian Apostolic Church on Monday, March 22, 2021 at 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm with Dan Gark prayers at 7:00 pm.
Friends will also be received in the church on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 from 10:00 am until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 am. COVID rules will be observed, wearing masks and social distancing. After the funeral service, a military honors ceremony will take place outside the church.
Interment will take place in Evergreen Cemetery in Detroit, Michigan.
