The Middlesex YMCA is a cause-driven community organization, where we work each day to make a meaningful difference in the lives of every person who walks through our doors.

We provide a values-based environment where caring, honesty, respect and responsibility are incorporated into everything we do.
Imagine going to work knowing that what you do each day positively affects the lives of the people in your community.

Working at the Y, you'll discover more than a job - you'll enjoy a career with a future and the opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of those around you.

At the Middlesex YMCA, our staff members-of all ages and from diverse backgrounds and life experiences-enjoy the personal satisfaction that comes from nurturing the potential of youth and teens, improving the nation's health and well-being and providing support to our neighbors.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILTY:
Community Partners like First Church Middletown, UCC have been helping us to be sure the men who reside at the Y receive support in fighting food insecurity. For the past 41 Sundays, First Church has been funding the delivery of 60 meals from local restaurants to the YMCA Men’s Residence. Their funding is running low and hope is high that the community will support the Sunday meal programs by making donations. Learn more in article below.
Middlesex United Way is hosting another Farmers to Families food distribution drive through event on February 15th from 10:00 am-2:00 pm at Amazing Grace Food Pantry. Distribution will be contactless/drive through and boxes will include fresh produce, milk, eggs, hot dogs and chicken.
Volunteers are still needed to help facilitate the distribution. Signup here: https://bit.ly/36x34wE
We are here for the community. If possible, please be here for us! This spring, when nonprofits and other organizations closed their doors to slow the spread of Covid-19, YMCAs across the country lost revenue from memberships and fees for programs that were canceled. The Northern Middlesex YMCA is currently down 2 million dollars in revenue. Now more than ever, we need your support to make sure the YMCA is able to continue to serve the community for years to come. This loss of resource has created both short and long term challenges for our organization.

During these unprecedented times, your support helps the Y continue to offer:

  • safe health and wellness programming,
  • childcare for working families
  • food and healthy living support for the men residing at the YMCA

We are here for the community. Please be here for us.

Despite all odds, the Northern Middlesex YMCA remains dedicated to serving the needs of your community and the people in it. As a 501 (c)3 charitable non-profit, the Y needs your support to keep going. Please join us TODAY to make a difference in your community.
The 2021 YMCA Employee Giving Campaign has kicked off. Last year, YMCA Staff collectively gave more than $7,000 through payroll deduction to support our cause driven work. Why do they give? Check out the short video below to hear from Y staff about why they give!
