Why do you Give?
Many of us have Thrivent t-shirts that say “Live Generously.” (I actually have 3 of them in different colors.) Those words are very meaningful to me. I have been blessed, over the course of my life, to have had sufficient resources to live on. Now I look for opportunities to share what I’ve been able to save. Luke’s gospel cautions us about building bigger barns for our harvest. Rather, being generous, as we are able, seems to be one way to live out God’s love for us. - Linda Kinsinger
Sign up hereto join us for VBS at St. Mark's August 14-18 from 5:15-8:15pm! Our theme this year is River of Life. From the waters of baptism to the waters that sustain farms and gardens, water gives life! We will spend the week learning, playing, and growing as we wade in God's gift of water. Children age 3-Grade 5 welcome. 6th grade or older? Talk to Deacon Katie about helping with VBS!

Ice Cream Social Fundraiser & Noisy Bucket
Sunday, July 31st after the 11pm Service
The beneficiary of this month's funds is so special that the CATs are also sponsoring an ice cream social in their honor on the same day. Purr-lease join the Christian Action Team on Sunday, July 31 following the 11:00 service for an important fundraiser to benefit the Community High School. This is a fundraiser to support all the amazing work this school does to support kids in our own community - they are really making a difference and we would love for you to learn all about it. If you are unable to attend the ice cream extravaganza, please consider a donation to the noisy bucket during either service on July 31 which will also go to support BCHS. God's Work, Our Paws!
Our annual Gala and Auction will be both virtual and in-person this year on Friday, August 26th. Help us celebrate transformed lives while raising funds to equip and empower others.
If you are a worship assistant, please take a few moments and refresh yourself on the routines of your position either by watching these videos or by reading the linked text within the titles.
