John Upton Chats with
Virginia’s Vaccine Coordinator
John Upton, BGAV Executive Director, had an informative Zoom meeting with Dr. Danny Avula, Virginia’s Vaccine Coordinator. Dr. Avula answered specific questions from pastors relayed by Upton regarding the science, safety, and distribution of the Covid-19 vaccine. The 44-minute conversation is presented in its entirety, and permission is granted to use this in BGAV churches only in its full version.

Virginia Baptist Disaster Response in the News!
Click the video below to see yesterday's news coverage of Virginia Baptist Disaster Response's feeding units serving the volunteers at the mass Covid-19 vaccination clinic at the Richmond Raceway.

[One clarification to the coverage: while our kitchen has the capacity to serve 3,000-4,000 meals per day, we're actually serving around 300-400 meals a day to meet the current needs of the workers at the site.]
