City offices closed for Christmas, Dec. 24-25
City of Cleburne offices will be closed on Dec. 24-25 for Christmas.

Sanitation routes will run on its normal schedule on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24. The Transfer Station will be closed Dec. 24-25.

The Library will be closed Thursday through Saturday.

Booker T. Washington Recreation Center and Splash Station will be open from 8 a.m. to noon on Dec. 24 and closed Dec. 25. Cleburne Golf Links will close at 3 p.m. on Christmas Eve and be closed Christmas Day, Dec. 25.

The Animal Shelter is not scheduling adoption appointments from Dec. 24-27, but an animal services officer will be available for emergencies.
Free COVID-19 Testing available at Senior Center around holidays
The Texas Department of Emergency Management (TDEM) is offering free COVID-19 testing in Cleburne.

The team offers testing from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays, Sundays, and Mondays through December at the Cleburne Senior Center, 1212 Glenwood Drive. The Testing Center will be closed on Dec. 24-25 and Jan. 1 for the holidays.
Meet the Pet of the Week
Meet Frosty! This fella is a 2-and-a-half year old Lab/Shepherd mix. Frosty had been running the streets of Cleburne for several months before we were able to catch him. Now he needs a warm bed and a place to call home. Frosty is a little insecure in new surroundings but he warms up quickly and is friendly with people and other dogs. Frosty’s adoption fee is waived to help him find a home for the holidays.
