DISC Project Opportunity:
Tybee Island Farmers Market Health Screenings
|
|
The
Tybee Island Farmers' Market
allows MUSM student volunteers to perform health screenings on Monday afternoons. Chandler Brandenburg, Tanner Fincher, and Christie Sapp Savas have coordinated volunteers, supplies, and timing of these screenings and formalized the volunteer opportunity into a DISC project. As they move into third year, the goal is for the primary project responsibilities to transition to one or more second year students. They plan to be involved as much as their schedules allow, but are excited for others to have the opportunity to become active in this awesome DISC project!
If you’re interested, email
Christie Sapp Savas
with a few short sentences about why you'd like to become involved. This position will also require you to attend the market all afternoon on Monday, June 22 or Monday, June 29 in order to transition responsibilities.
