Dear Roslyn Athletes and Families,
Unfortunately, Nassau County Athletics has made the decision to cancel the spring sports season due to health and safety concerns. I know this news is extremely disappointing, especially for our senior athletes and their families. I am sorry for this.
To the senior athletes whose sports careers were cut short, hold your head up high. As challenging as it may be at this time, think about the time and effort that you have invested throughout your career. Reminisce about the excitement of achieving an off-season personal goal, team accolades or seeing your friends and teammates perform well.
To our high school and middle school athletes who will return next year, continue to work and prepare for your next season. The athletic department will be relying on you to continue the Roslyn tradition of playing hard and being a good teammate. I, along with the coaching staff, look forward to seeing you all compete next year, bigger, better and stronger.
