KDS Veterans Day Program
KDS DAR School was pleased to co-host, along with the Gunter Mountain Chapter, NSDAR, the annual “Salute to Veterans” program on November 10, 2021. The program featured two KDS graduates and U.S. military veterans as guest speakers. KDS Class of 2001 member and U.S. Army Veteran, Bobby Guffey, spoke about his experiences during the time he served. Daniel Fortune, a member of the KDS Class of 2006, also spoke of his days of service in the United States Navy.

Snowflake Holiday Giving Campaign
It’s a brand new day full of hope and possibility, and “snow” is once again in the forecast for students at KDS DAR School. As the holidays approach and 2021 winds to a close, we ask that you remember KDS in your year-end giving so that we may provide a bright and shiny Christmas for Gunter Mountain children in need.
