Remember to put your clock forward an hour this Sunday! I realize the attendance at 8:30 AM this Sunday may not break any records! The greater challenge for many of you is when to return to Calvary for corporate worship. Since the first Sunday in July, we have been meeting in person in our Sanctuary for two morning services. Clearly, it has been wise for those who have underlying conditions to stay at home. In God’s goodness, we have not had any outbreak of COVID–19 from our corporate worship services.
Now many of us are receiving the vaccine. (Gudny and I received our second one this week.) The experience of worshiping in the Sanctuary is very different from watching alone at home, sitting on a couch, and drinking a cup of coffee! The sense of community is also lost as you watch on Livestream.
I am thankful that the numbers attending in-person in our Sanctuary keep increasing. We all look forward to that day when we meet without masks and social distancing. I look forward to seeing many of you this Sunday, either at 8:30 or 11:00 AM.
