Being prepared for an examination is a top priority for every bank. West Virginia Bankers Association is part of the Coalition of Bankers Associations which represents 38 bankers associations across America and was formed to provide banks with the building blocks for successful and fair examinations.
In 2010, the Regulatory Feedback Initiative (RFI) was launched to improve consistency through a confidential electronic survey where banks can anonymously provide details on their most recent examination or visitation. The Bank Exam Prep Center features expert analysis through survey data on where agencies are focusing as well as banker takeaways to ensure banks are prepared for their next exam.
Working together bankers can eliminate surprises and inconsistencies in their examinations; we encourage every bank to use the Bank Exam Prep Center and continue to ask for every bank to complete a Post Exam Survey. For more information, click here.

Early registration discount ends March 31, 2021 - Register Now!
Banking executives from two states will join together at The Greenbrier, July 25 - 28, for a Joint Convention hosted by the West Virginia Bankers Association and the Ohio Bankers League. This gathering of top executives will provide a variety of opportunities to enhance visibility with the leaders of our states' financial services industry as a sponsor, exhibitor, breakout session presenter, or simply as a registered attendee.
Take advantage of the savings from this year's early registration. We are offering Association members the opportunity to take advantage of a significant discount for convention registrations that are pre-paid in full by March 31, 2021 - savings of $200 per couple. Credit card payments not accepted for discounted registration fees.
Remember, initial registration discounts will only be available through March, so you must register and pay applicable fees by the deadline to enjoy the full discount. If you have any questions, please contact Debbie Polen.
With your help, we look forward to a successful Convention. Thank you for your continued support. We hope you can join us!
