How you've helped your neighbors in need
on their road to self-sufficiency.

Keeping a Family Together with Rental Assistance
Kim* and her daughter recently came to us asking for help. Kim had desperately been trying to remain self-sufficient. However, she and her daughter unexpectedly had to move from their apartment. This move occurred two weeks before she was to start a new, full-time job.

Kim did not have enough money to pay for her moving costs because her first paycheck wasn't coming until the end of the month. Her landlord had already extended her rent due date.

Having no where to turn and in order to keep her and her daughter from being homeless, she reached out to Beverly Bootstraps. Thanks to donors like you, we were able to cover her moving costs, as well as her first month of rent.

Beverly Bootstraps could be there for Kim and others like her. Sometimes it is a one-time assistance that can save a home, a job, and a family.

During these difficult times, requests like Kim's are coming to us more often. Generous support from our donors makes it possible for us to help Kim.
