What is new this coming week:
- Schedules for all grade levels will now include daily flex time for educators to check-in with students, plan, collaborate, or complete professional development.
- Middle and High School schedules will include learning labs, which will provide additional connection points for students and teachers. Examples of learning lab activities during this time may include discussions, live meetings with students, video updates, additional resources, question and answer, or other small group learning support.

Katie Reid
Katie was one of the students who interviewed me for my coaching position. She is not only smart and a talented athlete, but also a natural leader. This is why I was not surprised to hear that she holds an elected position on ASB. Her peers and I value her opinions. She is a firecracker that will speak her mind and push for what she feel is right. The tremendous talents Katie has ranged so wide on the track that it was hard to decide what events she should do. This young lady would even go above and beyond to help coach high jump so her peers could have the opportunity to experience the event safe and correctly. I can't wait to see what the future has in store for her.

年级家长，

JUNIORS
Every year the junior class at BHS has a raffle to raise funds to lower the cost of senior events such as prom and graduation.
Our raffle includes: 4 Night Getaway in a villa at the Westin Los Cabos for 6 guests, Cabo restaurant giftcard, and $750 cash.
Our goal is to raise $30,000 by selling 2,000 raffle tickets for $15 each.
We still need a few more sellers to sell just 25 tickets each to achieve our goal! You may sell tickets to other BHS parents, co-workers, family members, or you may purchase them yourselves. You will have until the drawing on April 23 to sell them. We will provide email templates and marketing materials to help you sell.
We also really need parents to buy tickets! THANK YOU TO ALL OF OUR FABULOUS SELLERS BELOW! Please contact one if you would like to purchase.

TEAM JAPANESE BLAST!
If you are interested in Japanese culture, Japanese anime, or take Japanese class and understand Japanese, why don't you join us, Team Japanese Blast? Team Japanese Blast is a group of parent and student volunteers who are engaged in translating the PTSA newsletter The Bellevue Blast into Japanese.
Hours for translation will qualify for volunteer hours, a graduation requirement!

SUBMISSIONS - 1 Weekly BELLEVUE BLAST EDITION
The Blast will be delivered once a week on Tuesday mornings. The deadlines for submitting articles are as follows:
- School news and PTSA articles - Friday deadline
- Athletics and Activities articles - Sunday deadline
- Submissions should be in plain text in the body of your email message or in a Word document.
- Items submitted may be accepted, rejected, or edited at our discretion.
- Please use a separate email for each article submitted.
- Titles should be included in the Subject line.
- Images may be included as JPEG or PNG files.
- Submissions received after Friday/Sunday will NOT be in the Tuesday issue, but will be in the following week's issue.
