Overview
The San Francisco Department of the Environment, in partnership with the San Francisco County Transportation Authority, has launched a new program, Essential Worker Ride Home. During the order to shelter-in-place, public transportation systems have made necessary service reductions that have impacted essential workers commuting to and within San Francisco. The City's new Essential Worker Ride Home program supports essential employees in San Francisco by offering a taxi ride home from work to qualifying participants. To be eligible, you must commute to work via a sustainable mode of transportation and commute home between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 8:30 a.m.  To learn more about eligibility and how to apply, please visit Essential Worker Ride Home
