Executive Director Report
HAPPY NEW YEAR & WELCOME 2021!

Neeley and I are so ready for this year and to see what our amazing affiliates are planning.

I hope many of you had the opportunity to see some of our Wildflower Trail sites in 2020 – get ready in 2021 you will be in for a surprise, as many more of our Keep Mississippi Beautiful affiliates will be showcasing their community wildflower sites. A special thank you to our Wildflower Champion, Dr. Brett Rushing with the MSU Coastal Plains Extension in Newton, Mississippi as he is helping us to kick off with Wildflower planning sessions later this month.

Thanks to all the KMB Affiliates that will be participating with the Dixie National Rodeo Wagon Train and picking up litter along the way – again – volunteerism here at its best. If you happen to see any of them – please give a shout out!

I want to encourage everyone to start planning for the 2021 Great American Cleanup. Mississippi Affiliates have always stepped up to the plate and have always exceeded my expectations for sure with their many cleanups and beautification projects they do.  For any GAC information, contact our office.  Remember – Pick up – Cleanup – and still Mask up!

Wishing you a blessed 2021!
