Alumni Spot Light - Rocco & Cheri Molfese, Class of 2000
New this year we will be highlighting Lake Park alumni and the amazing work they are doing locally and around the world!

Our first spotlight focuses on Rocco Molfese and Cheri (Stephens) Molfese from the Lake Park class of 2000. Rocco and Cheri are the founders of Crown Coverings located in Roselle, Illinois. Crown Coverings is an interior finishes company that covers several product lines. The initial specialties focused on flooring and countertops but has greatly expanded to include additional services such as consulting, painting, and seating. The company is continuing to expand into residential offering.

Crown Coverings recently made the Inc. 5000 List of America's Fastest Growing Private Companies. "The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment, its independent small businesses."

“I am very proud and thankful for our employees and customers that continue to believe in Crown Coverings Inc. Making the Inc. 5000 back to back is a distinct honor, and true reflection of our team’s persistent pursuit for growth. The current year might be inundated with obstacles, but our Crown team hasn’t stopped creating, evolving, and adapting. We will continue to celebrate our successes as and learn from our failures and most importantly take time every day to remind ourselves what we are doing this for.” -Rocco Molfese

Rocco and Cheri will also be highlighted in our first monthly Lake Park Alumni Spotlight video. Watch for the video to be shared on social media next week!
If you know of an alumni or alumni-event that should be highlighted, please contact Becky Wyatt.
INCubatoredu @ LPHS
The LPEF is the proud investment partner in the Lake Park High School INCubator program.

In the INCubator course, students engage in hands-on, entrepreneurial learning by developing a business of their own. The course culminates in a Pitch Night event, where students present their business plan in a “shark tank” competition. Winning projects will be awarded scholarships from our INCubator funding partners. The students’ classroom learning experience is enhanced by local business professionals who serve as team mentors and classroom coaches.

How can I get involved?
  • Be a classroom board member, coach, or mentor.
  • Be a founding donor and/or sponsor by partnering with the Lake Park Educational Foundation.

To sign up and learn more about this exciting new program visit the INCubator website.
