Supporting Presbyterian Women on PW Gives Day
(and All Days)

PW Gives Day is July 31—a day each year to celebrate the founding of Presbyterian Women as well as the loving relationships and the life-changing ministries Presbyterian Women cultivate.

Cultivating Presbyterian Women means putting our hands and hearts to work and love through our PW Purpose. Whether planting seeds through our ecumenical partnerships, building healthy communities through our Thank and Birthday Offerings, honoring faithful servants with Honorary Life Memberships, or taking time to be in beloved community through study, service and fun, we each choose to “live life in full bloom” by care-tending our bountiful and beautiful PW gardens.

Trinity Presbytery's Youth Ministry Coordinator, Bill Wannamaker, is in the process of reorganizing the Trinity Presbytery Youth Council (TPYC).

TPYC offers a unique way for rising 9th -12th graders to gain valuable leadership skills, learn more about the Presbyterian Church (USA), lead events for youth in our presbytery, and serve the Church in an important and challenging way.

TPYC is made up of youth and adults from all over Trinity Presbytery.

Anyone interested in being a part of TPYC should contact Bill at billwannamaker@flpc.org.

This trip was different in that the whole team stayed in Juba-in part because it is the rainy season and rural airports are sporadically open. There are 5 of us- 2 women.

We delivered 400 talking Bibles to leaders who will invite 6-10 to listen.

We delivered in Arabic, Dinka, Nuer, Murle, Tenet, Shillook, Anyuak. We met with translators and the Bible Soviety of Juba. We met representatives of the PCOSS and a splinter group. We visited an IDP UN Canp.  We preached in 5 churches and talked in 12. God has been good. We have passed all the Covid tests and He has used us to do good medically too. Rev. Orozu, our host has malaria and flew to Ethiopia for treatment. We met with local partners and Rev James, head of the South Sudan Council of Churches, along with 14 other meetings. Pray we have a safe trip tomorrow.
