Creating Community-Focused Content
We wanted to give a quick overview of how we intend on approaching ministry online and on our social media platforms, along with some updates regarding where we are going as a church.

As we continue towards the next phase of Reunion Church, we have a couple of things we are working on as a team. There’s a few of us moving to the city this summer, starting the process of being ingrained in the community through some summer events, and creating a presence on all digital platforms. Now I can’t speak to everything that’s happening in one newsletter since there’s so much going on, but I'll just briefly go over our online presence real quick. Here’s what you can expect.

As you may have noticed, we have been posting our Sunday Recap episodes of the Reunion Church Podcast every Wednesday. Like we mentioned previously too, we’ll be doing interviews of local people with incredible stories starting in August as well. If you know of anyone in Colorado, let us know! We'd love to hear their story.

We plan on having the podcast available on Spotify sometime in July, so look forward to that in the future. Starting a podcast is a process, but we're learning and grateful for all of the positive feedback from all of you. Now this week there isn’t a podcast episode because with the long holiday weekend, we figured it was better to enjoy time with family than push out content for the sake of it.

This Sunday we will be picking up again in our series, An Ordinary Life, so there will be another Sunday Recap on July 14th. Also, there’s not just one but two new topical short videos we have planned for this month. The first is the long-awaited Sentence-Enhancers: Cussing and Swearing as Christians video, which takes a whole new approach to the subject in how we should carry ourselves as Christians.

The second video is another that we have planned called Approaching Politics. This will focus on how-to handle political issues as Christians in an age of outrage. How do we engage with what's going on locally and nationally? Should the church be involved with politics at all? How did Jesus engage with the politics of his time? All of these will be discussed in this short topical video coming soon near the end of July.

The world is swinging from a traditional culture to a transformative culture like the 1950s shifted into the 1960s. Life tends to go back-and-forth like that and we too need to shift in order to meet the Reunion community. A part of the process is asking questions they ask and bringing them answers that engage all aspects of who we are as people. Answers that meet the needs of the head, heart, and hands of Christian living.

This is a difficult time for the culture and world at large, but we the people of God will not cower from the controversies of our time. We will not waver when it comes to what God’s Word says, yet will not stand by as the issues of our time happen. We will not always have a position as a church on every current issue, but we will be in the moment with all people pointing them back to God.

This is a journey and we’re grateful that you choose to take part in it with us. We truly appreciate all of your support.

In last week's episode, Andrew and Chris discuss Romantic Realism and what this means in our everyday lives as Christians.
What You Can Be Praying For
  1. Thank God that Ben, Chris, Daniel, and the Morrisons have all found places to live near Reunion! All of them are very grateful to be moving this summer and be apart of the community.
  2. We are in the process of applying for our 501(c)(3) classification. It is proving to be quite a lengthy, confusing (and expensive) process. Please pray that we would be able to raise the necessary funds and that the Lord would guide us as we continue to navigate this process.
  3. Need a worship leader for our full service launch in January, along with expanding the rest of our teams this year.
Support Us
We are in need of a team of people who are willing to labor for Reunion through their prayers and financial support. Your partnership will make a huge difference in reaching the people of Reunion, and, through them, all of Colorado and the world! We cannot thank you enough for that. Would you prayerfully consider partnering with us and joining our team by giving?
