Be a Books & Breakfast Summer Partner

B&B programs are more critical than ever. Their 170 kids now have access to online programs and are getting B&B packages every 2 weeks with books, school supplies, and surprises picked just for them.

The thing is, books cost more than breakfast. That means the expenses are increasing as their spring fundraisers are canceled. Consider this:
  • $30 Stocks 1 Book Package
  • $250 Covers all Book Packages for 1 student
  • $1,000 Sponsors 1 student from the time schools closed until they re-open
Your support fuels caring and trusting relationships that have become lifelines for 170 Evanston students during the pandemic.

Please note that due to COVID-19 and related printing delays that are outside of our control, the yearbooks are not expected to arrive until late June. But be on the lookout for communication from your room parent and/or Mr. Davis in late June with details regarding convenient, socially distant yearbook pick-up options.
Volunteer for 2020-21 PTA Roles

We need your help!! While the 2020-21 school year will likely look quite different regarding PTA sponsored events and initiatives, we do have some roles that we need filled in order to kick off the school year - whatever that may look like. Please consider signing up for one of the following roles:

Membership Chair - Main responsibilities are managing the Kingsley Member Hub site (where families enroll in the PTA and pay their dues), and sending out periodic communications (e.g. PTA meeting reminders) to PTA members throughout the year.

Clubs & Programs Co-Chair - Partner with our current experienced chair to help plan and oversee the before/after school programming offered at Kingsley. For the upcoming school year this may include exploring online initiatives.

Room Parent Coordinator - Recruit parents/guardians volunteers to be room parents for each classroom; hold a room parent "training" session at the start of the school year; communicate pertinent info from PTA to room parents; help encourage community events through classroom communications

Fall Fundraiser - Lead the fall fundraising initiative to raise money for PTA programming. Typically an online platform (last two years has been Boon/Mixed Bags), but can be whatever you like!

Social Media - Post relevant updates to Kingsley PTA Facebook page.

Sign up to volunteer here. If you know what you'd like to do, add it as a comment. Not sure? Leave the comments blank and a PTA member will reach out to you.
