Do you remember the massive rallies world-wide on February 15, 2003? Some 30 million people-- many of whom had never demonstrated before in their lives -- came out in nearly 800 cities to protest against the impending Iraq War II.
We are teaming up with the We Are Many film to celebrate that historic event and to remind ourselves that we must "#keepcomingback" and stand up for justice and peace!
This event is an ideal transition from the Season of Peace to the expansion our ongoing campaign, the Call for Peace (more details in the October eNews). Here's your chance to re-energize! In addition to the film screening and music, join in for the live Q&A with renowned activists (see listing in image below).
Remember, please purchase your tickets through WILPF's own Virtual Theater information page. Use
our personalized link to get more information as well as tickets; we'll receive a percentage of the revenue to support our ongoing work.
