Monthly Annadaan Service Activity
Sai Baba Temple has been conducting Annadaan Service activity to serve dinner for the residents of Dallas Life Foundation homeless shelter every month on 2nd Saturday since January 2006. We feed approximately 300 people with freshly home cooked vegetarian meal. If you are interested, please sign up on the Annadaan volunteer sheet when it is posted at the temple for the next Annadaan on August 13th.
We resumed this service activity for the first time after a gap of two years on Saturday July 9th 2022. Here are the glimpses:

Aarti Guidelines
• Devotees will be admitted on a first-come first-served basis according to the capacity of the Temple (COVID reduced capacity will be up to 150 devotees) (with a social distance of 6 feet).
• If the devotee count exceeds the capacity of the hall, devotees are allowed to only pass-through between South and North doors.
Lalitha Sahasranamam
• Next in person Lalitha Sahasranamam chanting (every month 1st Tuesday) at the temple is on Tuesday August 2nd.
Satyanarayana Puja
• Next in person Satyanarayana Puja is on this coming Thursday August 11th (Purnima day).
• Temple will provide all puja material.
Kids/Youth Seva Activity at Temple
• Kids/Youth (10+) Seva Day every month on the 1st Saturday between 1 pm and 4 pm.
On Thursdays between 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm
• Inside Pradakshina is not allowed.
Darshan Guidelines
We request your support to comply with COVID-19 guidelines so that we can have a safe and successful Aarti participation and Baba darshan.
1.Please do not visit Temple if you are sick or travelled internationally within the last 5 days.
2. We recommend you leave your footwear in your vehicle or in the racks located on the south-east side of the temple (to the left). Footwear is NOT allowed inside.
3. Please wear your mask at all times (including children of 2 years and older) and maintain social distancing of six feet from other families.
4. Please take care of your children at all times and do NOT allow them to leave the line. They should be with you at all times while you are in the Aarti/darshan queue.
5. Please sanitize your hands at the station inside the Temple. No touch policy is in force, please refrain from touching anything including idols, padukas, crowd control ropes, walls etc.
6. Please stand at the spot specified by volunteer-in-charge throughout the Aarti period and follow volunteer instructions. After completion of Aarti, please do not rush to exit, wait till your line starts moving.
7. Priest will be performing Aarti offering and other rituals and Aarti plate is not passed on to devotees/volunteers.
8. During Temple operating hours, sitting inside Temple is allowed (maintaining social distance).
9. No loitering or socializing in the Temple surroundings.
10. Temple is accepting garlands/flowers, fruits, please leave them at altar area.
11. Aksharabhyasam, Annaprasana, Vahana Puja (new car puja) and any small pujas with less than 10 people are allowed. Please schedule the puja in advance by sending email to maildrop@ShirdisaiDallas.org or by calling 469-467-3388. Except the above, other private events are not allowed in the Temple until further notice.
12. Guidelines may change based on situation, please follow volunteers instructions.
Assumption of Risk:
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and those with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. By entering the Temple and Temple parking areas, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
Gurustan Baba Darshan
Sairam, devotees can do Gurustan Baba Darshan even when the Temple is not opened. Please come to the west side (back side) of the Temple building and you see a glass window. Please stand on the steps next to the window and follow the instructions posted on the window to see Gurustan Baba from the window.
