President's Message

Matt Cowan
2018 CTGCSA President

Fall is upon us and hopefully all of you have gotten the relief we know we were asking for.  Nature of the business...scrambling to keep grass alive in triple digit weather to scrambling to mow grass after 2 weeks of rain.

However, always put your woes into perspective as we should all keep those on the east coast dealing with Hurricane Florence in our thoughts and prayers.

We are coming into the fall golf season hot and heavy with events right around the corner.  The Crew Championship will be held at Grey Rock Golf Club on October the 15th. Show your hard working crew some love and treat them to a fund day of golf, camaraderie and competition!

That will be followed shortly by the rescheduled Texas Trophy at Corpus Christi CC later in October. We'll follow that up with the Toy Drive fundraiser at Dominion Country Club in November and then our annual meeting at The River Crossings Club in early December.  Again, a big shout out to all of our sponsors that allow us to put on these events throughout the year!

We are in the time of the year where we as a board are planning for next year and getting tournament locations and dates together.  If you have any interest in showcasing your golf course next year please reach out to a board member.
