Becoming Me Virtual Program Series
November - December
Live Oak Public Libraries, in partnership with Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia, present the Becoming Me virtual program series for 6th-8th graders. Inspired by Michelle Obama’s book Becoming: Adapted for Young Readers, the program guides girls through an exploration of telling their story, maintaining wellness, and supporting friends on their journey.
This program is free and open to the public. Attendees do not need to be Girl Scouts to join. Participants do not have to read the book, but it is encouraged.

"I have seen the true meaning of community for the first time in my life through our local library this past year. Every industry, every person has been forced to show their true colors in adapting to the world as things evolve--the Rincon Library is an inspiration and a source of stability for our family... (We even have a special library bag!)"
~ Amy, Rincon Library Customer
