Campus Reopening Update # 10 - Travel Protocols & Passport Required Starting 9/8
To ACPHS Community,

We've completed our first week of classes and so far so good! I know we're all adjusting to the blended curriculum model and the reopening protocols, but I'm confident we'll do what's needed to protect our community. We want to make sure our College is not one that is added to the growing list of colleges having to switch to entirely remote instruction due to campus outbreaks.

ShareMy.Health Passport Required Starting 9/8

As we begin this long holiday weekend, we must be vigilant about not only following our health and safety protocols, including wearing masks and social distancing, but also following our travel protocols and completing the daily health assessment.

Additionally, starting Tuesday 9/8, students and employees will be required to have their own their ShareMy.Health "passport" prior to gaining access to campus, and be prepared to present it if/when requested. Here are detailed instructions on how to access your passport. If there are any questions, please contact [email protected].

Albany Campus Travel Protocols

All students and employees returning to the Albany campus from areas with quarantine restrictions must be tested within 24 hours of arrival, quarantine for 7 days, and get retested on day 7.

Students returning to campus using public transportation (i.e., train, plane) or from more than 300 miles from campus, must be tested within 24 hours of arrival on campus.

To schedule a COVID-19 test, please email [email protected]. Students can get this testing done on campus in the carport of the O'Brien building Monday - Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. If these students arrive to campus and testing is not available, they must contact Residence Life at [email protected] for information on quarantining until they can be tested.

Vermont Campus Travel Protocols

All students and employees returning to our Vermont campus, including those from Canada, are required to abide by the following quarantine restrictions included in Vermont's Mandatory Guidance for College and University Campus Learning.

Vermont distinguishes the type of traveler arriving to Vermont and the respective quarantine restriction:

Students traveling to Vermont with people from multiple households, via bus, rail or commercial airlines, must quarantine for 14 days upon arrival to Vermont. After day 7 of the quarantine, these students may get a COVID-19 test and upon receiving a negative result, end their quarantine.

Students traveling to Vermont from a non-quarantine county as identified by the Vermont Agency of Commerce and Community Development on August 1st, who travel in a private vehicle without making a prolonged stop, may arrive without completing a quarantine.

ACPHS On-Campus COVID-19 Infection Rate Data

We have added our on-campus COVID-19 infection rate data to the Health & Safety reopening web page to allow the ACPHS community to see how well we're doing following the health and safety protocols.

We all must work together to protect our College community. Enjoy this long weekend, but please do it safely.
