Grande Reserve Elementary School Families,

It has been wonderful to see all the students back in the building this week; I hope everyone's winter break was restful, safe, and healthy. Having taken some time to reflect on how this most unusual 2020-2021 school year has gone so far, I am beyond thankful and grateful for the continued support our students, families, and staff have provided to others. It is because of your diligence, perseverance, and flexibility that we are able to continue providing a wonderful opportunity for all our students as we begin 2021; and for that I thank you as it has not always been an easy road. :)

The new year is a great way to start fresh! And what better way to do that than to commit a few minutes to review the newsletter each week. The newsletter is a valuable resource for all your student and family needs, and will only be sent when there is new, pertinent information. For example, the first issue of each month will feature the menu for your reference. Our goal is to ensure accurate, up to date, relevant information without creating an additional burden or task for each family. Information from previous newsletters can be referenced by going to the GRES website and clicking on "GRES Newsletters" in the ribbon near the bottom of the screen. On the right, you can click "Expand All" to see a list of topics covered in each newletter. Please call the office at 630-553-5513 if you have any questions or issues related to accessing this information.

Sincerely,
Michele Breyne

Dr. Kressin goes above and beyond day in and day out to ensure the children are reaching their fullest potential, despite the extra work required to tailor lessons and assignments to individual students. She is always thinking of creative ways to challenge and engage our son, keeping him motivated to learn. As if this isn’t enough, her organization and communication with students AND parents is top notch allowing for a very smooth and dare I say pleasant hybrid experience. She is so very appreciated within our household just as I imagine she is in so many others. Thank you Dr. Kressin!

Kristina Paruolo: We would like to extend our thanks and gratitude to you for doing such a lovely job with the “December On Point Speaker Series: Dealing with Stressors, Anxiety, and Social Isolation During the Pandemic & How to Support Your Child”. Thank you for the support you provide to our students and families!
