School: Recent modelling studies of COVID-19 predict that school closures alone would prevent only 2–4% of deaths, much less than other social distancing interventions. Policy makers need to be aware of the equivocal evidence when considering school closures for COVID-19, and that combinations of social distancing measures should be considered. Other less disruptive social distancing interventions in schools require further consideration if restrictive social distancing policies are implemented for long periods.

Testing : FDA will soon be putting an end to the unreliable Antibody testing that are being used locally and all over the US . Their initial decisions allowed reputable manufacturers to get tests out quickly, but also created a market for entrepreneurs to market tests of poor quality. The original use was to get population studies and nothing for personal interpretation. Consider their error level: "If you take 100 people, you’ll have two real positives and 98 negatives ...Out of the 98, two of those will also test positive. Now you have four positives, two of which are actually correct. What do you tell all four people? It’s a coin flip."

Businesses : OSHA and AIHA will be outlining safe workplace standards. Do not hesitate to voice concerns to management when visiting a business that you feel is practicing unsafe behaviors.

Tips on safely seeking medical care if you think something is wrong during COVID19:

1. Ask to complete all intake forms online or print and have ready when you arrive. Call in and confirm that you have everything they need to put you straight back to a room.

2. Wait for your room in your car.

3. Let your primary care doctor know before you go. They may be able to facilitate orders and can fax demographic and insurance information.

4. Ask and Advocate for yourself “We want to minimize any potential exposures to COVID19 by interacting with the least amount of people.”

5. Wear protective face masks and use plenty of alcohol before and after entering rooms. Bring your own alcohol sanitizer to the office (bring 2 bottles so you can leave one in the car).

6. Use the stairs and the not elevator.

7. Try to schedule in advance on a Monday morning or any first visit of the day.
