NEW JULY WORSHIP SERIES
In today’s world, the medium of film is reaching more and more people than ever before. And if seen in the right way, a movie can be a lens to view the world and even may be a pathway to find God. In this new worship series we’ll look at several movies to see how God shows up.
Photos from Mission Kids Adventure Camp!
Last Week's Peace works Adventure camp was a HUGE success. The campers learned about many diverse topics like Conflict & Hunger, Food security VS. Insecurity, and how a community can unite together to serve neighborhood needs! They had a blast giving back and sharing their compassion with the world around them.
Room In The Inn is Opening it's Doors!
In just a few days, we will be welcoming guests to Room in the Inn! ROOM IN THE INN (RITI) provides UCC members of all ages a way to extend hospitality to men experiencing homelessness in our community by welcoming them to our church for a delicious dinner, a peaceful night's sleep, and hearty breakfast before they return to True Worth Place, their daytime shelter.
BEFORE OUR FIRST GUESTS ARRIVE:

The RITI suite has primarily been used for storage for the past two years and we need your help to get our linens counted, sitting room arranged, shelves stocked, and the rooms restored to "welcome mode."

Friday, June 24, or Monday, June 27 any time between 9AM and noon.

Please email your preferred contact info to volunteer:

An open-hearted church for curious minded people
ONLINE SECURITY REMINDER: Recently a number of local churches have received several reports of members being contacted through email or social media sites such as Facebook by fake profiles claiming to be church staff. Some reminders about online security:
  • Be very careful if you receive messages that sound in any way suspicious or arrive at suspicious times, such as during the middle of the night.
  • Some of these messages contain links that, when clicked, can download malware to your computer. Don't click on any links received through Facebook Messenger or direct messages from Instagram.
  • UCC ministers and staff do not use social media direct messaging to ask for assistance or money.
  • Only give money through secure, trusted sources, and if you are not sure, contact the church first.
