This is a reminder that the deadline to submit Round 7 Letters of Interest for the
Community Benefit Grant Program
is this Friday, May 15th, 2020 by 4pm (PST).
HCBF's LOI submission process is exclusively online through
Submittable
. We do not accept paper-based or e-mail submissions. Please note that HCBF does not have access to user accounts or the ability to troubleshoot technical issues. Please contact Submittable directly with any technical concern.
In addition to the eligible projects and focus areas included in the
Community Benefit Round 7 Request for LOI
, HCBF will also be considering the following types of projects/programs within the focus area of “Community Health & Education”:
Support for modifying established healthcare programs to incorporate pandemic-related services for individuals with chronic respiratory illness or lung disease, whose respiratory health has been weakened (impacted) by port-related activities and further exacerbated (or impacted) by the COVID-19 health crisis. Proposal addresses respiratory health risks associated with Port-related pollution on the communities of Wilmington and San Pedro by providing access to respiratory disease diagnosis and treatment, health education, and access to respiratory disease-related resources.
Important Notes:
- Eligibility criteria and prioritized goals included in the Request of LOI still apply and have not been changed.
- If a LOI has already been submitted, you have until the deadline (Friday, May 15th by 4pm PST) to revise it, if needed.
- HCBF Staff will be conducting technical assistance with applicants who advance to the RFP phase.
- Organizations (e.g. non-profits, clinics, schools, and others) may submit applications for both CB Round 7 and the COVID-19 Relief Fund.
