Good Morning Covenant Families!

In today's Morning Assembly video, Mrs. Cossin explains Matthew 25:14-30 using one of her favorite board games and $20.

How Firm A Foundation
Let us sing How Firm A Foundation together with Mr. Maurer.
  How firm a foundation, you saints of the Lord,
is laid for your faith in his excellent Word!
What more can he say than to you he has said,
to you who for refuge to Jesus have fled?

"Fear not, I am with you, O be not dismayed;
for I am your God, and will still give you aid;
I'll strengthen you, help you, and cause you to stand,
upheld by my righteous, omnipotent hand.

"When through the deep waters I call you to go,
the rivers of sorrow shall not overflow;
for I will be with you, your troubles to bless,
and sanctify to you your deepest distress.

"When through fiery trials your pathway shall lie,
my grace, all-sufficient, shall be your supply;
the flame shall not hurt you; I only design
your dross to consume and your gold to refine.

"E'en down to old age all my people shall prove
my sovereign, eternal, unchangeable love;
and when hoary hairs shall their temples adorn,
like lambs they shall still in my bosom be borne.

"The soul that on Jesus has leaned for repose,
I will not, I will not desert to his foes;
that soul, though all hell should endeavor to shake,
I'll never, no never, no never forsake."

Non Nobis
Our Grammar School students normally sing our school song,  Non Nobis  during morning assembly each day. We invite you to sing along with Mr. Maurer this morning!

Non nobis, Domine
non nobis, sed nomini tuo da gloriam

Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name be the glory.
– Psalm 115:1
Covenant Loves Grandparents!

Grandparents are a wonderful part of our Covenant families. We value their wisdom and life experiences and enjoy spending time with them! During a regular school year we would be celebrating Grandparents Day this week with a special program of music, drama, and classroom visits to let them know how much we appreciate them. Since we are separated right now, we encourage you to draw and send a picture to your grandparent(s), call them, or video chat with them.

Parents:  In Friday’s student materials pick-up, we will include a picture template your child(ren) can use to draw a picture to send to their grandparents. There will be one page in each of the grammar school student material piles, and extras will be available for upper school students or any grammar school families who want additional copies.
The template is also attached HERE if you’d like to print more out at home.
