  • Storm sewer installation between Reston Avenue and Carpers Farm Way

Based on the survey of benefited parcel owners and tenants, all noise barriers that were deemed warranted, feasible, and reasonable in the Final Design Noise Analysis will be constructed with the project.   Click here to learn more about the noise wall process. For specific locations of these walls, please see the project's online interactive map .

April 20-24 is National Work Zone Awareness Week (NWZAW). We encourage drivers to focus on safe driving habits such as obeying reduced work zone speed limits (and avoiding higher fines!), staying alert while driving through work zones, and remembering that use of a hand-held cell phone is prohibited in Virginia while driving through a work zone .
Thanks for Giving Our Crews S P A C E

As work continues along Route 7, our crews are practicing social distancing. If you have questions or concerns about the construction, please give them the space they need to work, and call or email us instead of approaching the work site.
