LIFE CYCLE EVENTS
Kol HaKavod to our very own Sophia Bilu on being named a Meyer-Gottesman Kol Koleinu Teen Feminist Fellow by Moving Traditions this year! Kol Koleinu is a distinctive opportunity for young Jewish feminists to learn how to effectively speak their minds and create the change they want to see in the world. The competitive application process requires a great deal of thought and insight. We are inspired by your passion to speak your mind and drive to make the world a better place. See the full list of 2022-2023 fellows: www.movingtraditions.org/fellows
If you would like to be mentioned here, email office@shaareikodesh.org by Thursday so that we can include it in the following Monday's weekly email.

CSK COVID UPDATE
As Covid transmission rates resurge in Palm Beach County, CSK continues to be vigilant by strongly encouraging the wearing of masks when inside the sanctuary and in other areas of the building when people are present. Social distancing is also recommended. We will once again provide for aliyot away from the Torah table for those who prefer. While we invite everyone to join us for Shabbat and activities, we want to be mindful of gathering in a safe and respectful way. Regarding our transition from Zoom to streaming services, we are in the process of implementing this change and anticipate conversion to streaming before the end of August. We will continue to assess the situation and provide further updates.

8 Days Left to Take Advantage of Pay-in-Full Dues Discount
On behalf of the Board of Trustees of Congregation Shaarei Kodesh, we thank you for your continued commitment to our CSK family. This year, as we celebrated our return to in-person attendance for Shabbat, holidays, programs, learning, religious school and youth group events, we felt the joy of sharing these experiences face-to-face and feeling that familiar sense of connection and community. The return to Kiddush lunches and Shabbat dinners created opportunities for friends to reconnect and new members to experience the warmth of our community. This coming year we will provide even more opportunities to come together to share our spiritual, social, cultural, and educational connections.

CSK has not increased dues in three years. This year, we find the soaring cost of goods and services necessitates an increase in membership dues by a modest 5%. CSK relies upon your generous support so that we can maintain the infrastructure to make our Kehilla Kedosha, our holy community, a special place for us all.

Your account has been automatically updated to reflect the 22-23 Membership Dues and Safety & Security Fee. You may log into your account online or through the app to pay with a credit card or set up recurring payments. If you fall into the Chaverim, Vatikim or Cheitzi categories, you may take advantage of the 3% payment-in-full incentive on your membership dues only by paying with a check or cash by August 15, 2022. Payments can be mailed or dropped off at the office during office hours. For questions or assistance, contact our Executive Director, Kim Beame, at 561-852-6555.

No one will be refused membership to our congregation for an inability to pay dues. Please contact Kim Beame, our Executive Director, if you need financial assistance. All information is confidential.

Congregational dues account for only a small portion of the revenue required to sustain our Kehilla. CSK relies on voluntary contributions to maintain our operations. Please consider making an additional contribution HERE to support our community as well as to offset costs for those who may be unable to afford membership.

We thank you again for your continued support and look forward to this coming year, a year in which we are back together in our new space to pray, to learn, to support and to celebrate.

B’Shalom,

Nancy Spivack                                 Ariella Reback
