Welcome Shabbat outside and in-person with PCS' kindergartners, 1st and 2nd graders on the lawn at St. John's Episcopal Church, 8 Sunnyside Ave., (corner of Bedford Road) in Pleasantville.
People can bring blankets to sit on and
there will be folding chairs available.

Hebrew School will celebrate Shavuot

Sunday, May 16, 9 - 10 pm
Shavuot Torah Study (virtual) with Rabbi Julie
"Shmita (the Sabbatical Year) and Sinai?"
BYOB at home (bring your own blintzes) or cheesecake.
We will learn about Shmitta, the Torah's Sabbatical year, that is starting THIS Rosh Hashanah. It is probably the Torah's most radical idea for restoring the land and society every seven years,
and it's connected with Sinai, too.

"Dawn" will feature hours of music, film, comedy, dance, food and teaching across multiple channels.

Monday, May 17, 11 am - noon
Shavuot in Rabbi Julie's Backyard!*
Rabbi Julie invites you to a mini-Shavuot service in her backyard. 
We will meditate a little, pray and sing a little, and read the 10 commandments. You are welcome to bring flowers or greenery
to create a Shavuot atmosphere.
Bring a Siddur if you have one. We will have a few.

Talent Show and Montage!
Send in your videos & pics!
There are two options to consider:
1) Think Camp Talent Show!
2 minutes or less of YOUR talent,
be it magic, music, singing, dancing, stand-up comedy (well, maybe not that last one)! Solo or family acts welcome.
and/or
2) PCS Camp Montage! Send in either still photos of your favorite moments at (Camp) PCS and/or a 1-minute or less video of
"Why PCS Matters to Me."
