Message From the Nurse's Office
I hope you are all staying healthy and doing well at home. This is a reminder that a healthy immune system is also a great way to protect yourself and your family, and therefore we encourage:
- eating less of foods that are inflammatory or damaging to the immune fighting cells (such as processed foods, processed sugars and animal protein),
- eating more of foods that are rich in vitamins and phytonutrients,
- getting appropriate rest,
- implementing stress coping and reduction techniques into the day, and
- exercising.
Thank you all for doing a great job taking care of everything at home!
I miss you,
Mrs Pyles
Mrs. Pyles has also been making sure we have up-to-date information on Covid-19 and resources available to parents on
our website. We will continue to add information there as necessary.

- Check out the Amazon Wish List. Put your online shopping skills to good use! You can always donate an Amazon gift card in any amount and we will use it towards our bigger items. Click here to view the list. Please make sure to include your name and address with any donation so we can send you a thank you and tax receipt form. You can also use the wish list to get ideas-just let me know if you purchase elsewhere and I’ll take the item off the list.
- Donate lottery tickets in any amount.
- Do you have season tickets to local sports events? Can you spare a couple of tickets? We would love to offer tickets to the Reds, Bengals, FC Cincinnati, UC, XU, Ohio State, Notre Dame, UD, etc.
- Do you have an experience you can offer? Maybe a tour of your small business or you have a contact with someone at a restaurant, brewery, or factory?
- Send in a cash/check donation to the rectory. Please make your check out to Guardian Angels and mark your check as "Bid-N-Buy Donation."

Halo Hustle Postponed
Due to the current restrictions in place, the Halo Hustle 5K planning committee has decided to postpone the May 15th race event. While there are no current plans to extend social distancing past May 1st, we wish to ensure a safe and successful event and therefore, have made a decision to postpone the 5k event until the fall. The committee is working with the GA community to choose a rescheduled date and will communicate it as soon as possible. Although we have had to postpone, the Halo Hustle 5K committee remains committed to bringing the GA community a fun event that we can all enjoy once we get through this pandemic together. Any current registrations will be honored for the rescheduled event or can be refunded by emailing
Nicole Schneider.

Other Upcoming Events
With the stay-at-home order in place, please assume all previously promoted events on our campus through April are cancelled or postponed until a future date. Any rescheduling of those events will be shared in future communications. As for events scheduled May and beyond, if we have changes to communicate, that information will be shared in the school and parish emails. Details will also be posted on our website and social media platforms. This is a very fluid situation and we are trying to make the best accommodations as we learn more.
